Key Details

THE ALL NIGHT DAYS TOUR

The world-renowned vocalist of Matchbox Twenty is making his big solo career comeback… ROB THOMAS is kicking off THE ALL NIGHT DAYS TOUR in celebration of his upcoming album and twenty years of his first solo album “Something To Be.” The “Lonely No More” hitmaker and the voice behind some of the best alt-rock hits such as “If You’re Gone” and “Unwell,” is all hyped up to put out new songs and perform rock-out nights for all his fans. You can expect a setlist that’ll pack his best hits, crowd favorites, picks from Matchbox Twenty’s catalog, and of course new anthems in the mix. It’s certainly bound to be an electrifying night.

On tour, he’ll be joined by special guest A Great Big World — the duo behind the global hit song “Say Something.”

ABOUT ROB THOMAS

Born in Landstuhl, Germany, Thomas’ family returned to the United States when he was six, and lived a pretty challenging childhood. He frequently listened to country music and looked up at “big stars who lived ... hard lives,” as he shared with Rolling Stone back in 2005, explaining how their stories inspired his dream to be a songwriter. Now, he’s the frontman for a band that’s sold over 40 million records, and has a solo career that’s sold about another 18 million. With a bunch of massive hits such as “Lonely No More,” “Her Diamonds,” and “Little Wonders” to his name, the man’s career just kept soaring high.

From struggling with getting life straight to selling out arenas as topping the Billboard charts, Thomas’ journey wasn’t all glitter and gold, but it was writing songs that pushed him to be his very best.

In a conversation with USA TODAY, the singer shared that the name of his new album was “stemmed from a conversation I was having about when we used to stay out all night and I said, "I thought my all-night days were over.",” sharing how he took it to Google and found that he stumbled upon a unique phrase. Taking it into heart, this album was then born.

The album’s first single “Hard to Be Happy” shares some deep life reflections, and he explains that “It’s a good thing that we’re in a time where it’s OK to talk about not being OK… No matter where we are with having a mental health conversation, we feel this need to be performative in some way, to try not to burden other people with all of the things distressing you.”

Taking the high road as he keeps making it big in music, Rob Thomas is definitely one of the industry’s living legends. A driving force for Matchbox Twenty and a passionate artist with largely successful solo projects, he’s ought to take everyone by surprise in these All Night Days.
