The Philadelphia-born indie-rock outfit Mt. Joy is hitting the road with one of the biggest tours of 2026. The quintet will be taking the highly anticipated The Hope We Have Fun Tour: Part II across North America from April. This exciting new North-American tour comes in celebration of the release of their critically acclaimed 2025 album Hope We Have Fun. Mt. Joy will be landing at the esteemed Synovus Bank Amphitheater on Saturday 18th April 2026. If you didn’t already know, the band is made up of Matt Quinn (vocals and guitar), Sam Cooper (guitar), Sotiris Eliopolos (drums), Jackie Miclau (keyboards), and Michael Byrnes (bass). The trek kick starts on April 9 in Hollywood, Florida, and makes its way to major cities across the country including Birmingham, Charlotte, Atlanta, Kansas City, New Orleans, and more. The Hope We Have Fun Tour: Part II will wrap up on April 25 at Austin’s Moody Center. One of the most anticipated stops of the road trip is the Synovus Bank Amphitheater on Saturday 18th April 2026. From this must-see show, you can expect everything from indie anthems right through to sing-along favorites. Mt. Joy will take to the stage with new hits from their new album as well as crowd pleasers like “Silver Lining,” “Highway Queen,” and “She Wants to Go Dancing”. Over the years, Mt. About Mt. Joy
Mt. Joy is an indie rock quintet based in Los Angeles with roots in Philadelphia. Its members include Matt Quinn (vocals and guitar), Sam Cooper (guitar), Sotiris Eliopolos (drums), Jackie Miclau (keyboards), and Michael Byrnes (bass). The rock band was born in 2016 with the smash hit single "Astrovan.” This was followed up in 2017 by the trio of singles "Sheep", "Cardinal", and "Silver Lining". The next year, Mt. Joy released its debut eponymous studio album and it was awesome!! For the following two years, Mt. Joy rocked the stage at festivals and headlined tours across North America and Europe. In 2020, the five piece released its second studio album, Rearrange Us. Its third studio album, Orange Blood landed in 2022, while their fourth studio album, Hope We Have Fun, dropped in the summer of 2025.
