In 1989, Alison Krauss and Union Station released their debut album Two Highways. The album featured several covers, including The Allman Brothers “The Midnight Rider.” The effort also included traditional bluegrass songs like “Wild Bill Jones” and “Beaumont Rag.” It would take several years for Krauss to work with Union Station again with their sophomore effort together, Everytime You Say Goodbye, being released in 1992. Together, their collaborations had produced seven albums.
