The band also performed the highly beloved theme song for the award-winning sitcom, Big Bang Theory. Barenaked Ladies became a household name in the Canadian pop rock scene since their breakthrough with 1992’s Gordon. By 1998, they made their entry into the Billboard 200 chart with Stunt, peaking at number 3. The band had earned a ton of Juno Awards, two Billboard Awards, and several Grammy nominations, making them one of the most successful rock bands to come out of Canada.
Massachusetts born alternative rock band Guster had been around since 1991 and their music continues to evolve with each studio release. The band broke into Billboard 200’s Top 30 with their fifth album, Ganging Up on the Sun. The album also entered the Top Rock Albums chart peaking at number 8. Mostly praised for their dynamic and ultra fun live shows, Guster has grown their following immensely over the years.
This Grammy nominated band from Texas is responsible for the outstanding number 1 Alternative Rock song, “The Way,” and the Hot 100 charting single, “Out of My Head.” The band achieved great commercial success in 1998, with their sophomore album All the Pain Money Can Buy. For the rest of their notable work, Fastball went on to work as an indie artist. Last year, they released their latest album Sonic Ranch.
