He is slightly ‘Chopinesque’ topped with a little bit of ‘Saint James Infirmary Blues’; he’s ‘creative’ and knows how to ‘let your soul glow’; he’s a national treasure, and a musical virtuoso like the world hasn’t seen in recent years. In short - Jon Batiste has got the whole musical world in his hands.
A more magical match than this genre-defying multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter with the legendary Atlanta Pops Orchestra doesn’t exist - and the magic is yours for the taking this spring, Atlanta! That’s right - eight-time Grammy Award-winner Jon Batiste is coming to the Synovus Bank Amphitheatre with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra on 25 April 2026 for one night only!

Ever since multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Jon Batiste exploded onto the music scene in 2005 with his debut album Times in New Orleans as a 17-year old musician, his purpose for the world was pretty evident: to purify the airwaves for the people with out-of-this-world music. Since then, his career has been on a meteoric upward-trajectory, cementing him as one of the musical world’s very best. He has performed alongside massively popular artists to the likes of Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Willie Nelson, and Ed Sheeran; he made appearances as bandleader and musical director on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS; he co-composed the score for the Pixar film Soul; he was featured in the documentary film American Symphony while he was in the process of composing his first symphony; and racked up multiple awards, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, eight Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and an MTV Video Music Award.
This spring you’re in for a real treat as Jon Batiste takes the stage alongside the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, bringing his signature infectious groove, charming stagecraft, and hotpot of classical, jazz, pop, R&B, and world beat crossovers to yet another sold-out audience! Whether you indulge in the darkness of Raindance, the New Orleans gospel-funkified If You’re Happy and You Know It, the rolling percussive piano instrumentals of Kenner Boogie, the post-rock swells of Worship, the light drum taps and quiet synth bass of Butterfly, or the driving soul-rock of Tell the Truth, every Jon Batiste song is someone’s favorite.
Let’s be frank: a greater variety of musical styles performed to perfection within one concert you won’t find anywhere else; a more explosive talent oozing with more sincerity and authenticity doesn’t exist; and a more perfect night for young and old is yet to be conceptualized.
