With the release of his much awaited sixth solo album - Orgy of the Damned - on May 17, legendary guitarist and songwriter Slash has announced a summertime North American tour honoring the Blues. His Tour is called S.E.R.P.E.N.T. which stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality, and Tolerance.

And he’s making a stop at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia on August 8, 2024, Thursday!

Joining him in this show are the iconic ZZ Ward and Robert Randolph!

To unite fans in honor of the Blues and to share his passion for the genre with other Blues artists he admires, Slash created the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. festival. A share of the revenues from the VIP Packages and tickets sold will be given to The Equal Justice Initiative, Know Your Rights Camp, The Greenlining Institute, and War Child. The S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival is supporting these humanitarian initiatives in collaboration with PLUS1.ORG.

Slash, the legendary British-American artist and lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, just dropped some big news! He's hitting the road for his summer 2024 North American tour, and it's gonna be epic. Slash has a brand new blues covers album titled "Orgy of the Damned" set to release on May 17th. This upcoming tour, dubbed S.E.R.P.E.N.T., is all about supporting it.

This tour's title represents equality, tolerance, restoration, unity, and involvement. The S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour will end at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX on August 17th, after starting on July 5th in Bonner, MT at Kettlehouse Amphitheater. This tour will make over 25 stops, including cities like New York, Denver, and Los Angeles. In addition to Warren Haynes, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, ZZ Ward, Larkin Poe, Jackie Venson, and other fascinating guests, there will be a variety of opening bands.

The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. festival, which will include a lineup of popular rock and blues performers hopes to unite people from different social backgrounds and celebrate the diversity of the human experience. Slash sees the event as a lively venue for celebration and interaction, motivated by the desire to promote a feeling of community and respect among people despite social conflicts.

As mentioned, Slash's homage to blues greats, "Orgy of the Damned," will be out on May 17 in advance of the festival. The energetic cover of Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" by Brian Johnson and Steven Tyler, the album's debut song, sets the tone for what looks to be an incredible summer of music. Fans are encouraged to come in this celebration of diversity, music, and togetherness.

His show on August 8, 2024 at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia will also feature special guests - ZZ Ward and Robert Randolph. With the appearance of these two artists, it’s no surprise that the show is almost sold out!
