Based in LA, the alt-rockers of WALLOWS are releasing their highly-anticipated third studio LP "Model" on May 24th. The band also announced a headlining MODEL TOUR 2024 with special guest BENEE as they play their biggest tour yet. Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston are set to conquer arenas, theaters, bowls, and amphitheaters across the world. As one of this generation's biggest names in the indie scene, their catchy post-punk and pop hooks always hit the right spot.

Wallows previously shared a slew of new singles leading up to the album's full release. These songs include "Your Apartment", "Calling After Me", "Bad Dream", and "A Warning", stirring excitement among fans. This year's nonstop releases marks the band's venture into new music since 2022.

Teasing the band's massive tour for 2024, they released a mysterious 12-minute short film directed by Nina Ljeti, filmed at the Kia Forum. This venue is eyed to be the grand finale of the U.S. leg of the upcoming tour. "I can confidently say this is the first time that I’m really anticipating a tour announcement," Minnette told Variety. "I’m more nervous than ever — but not in a negative way. I know it’s going to go well. I know our fans show up but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it every day."

Wallows made a mark in the scene when their 2019 hit single "Are You Bored Yet?" featuring Clairo off of thier debut LP "Nothing Happens" made rounds internationally, scoring a 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA. Since then, they continued to make music that reflects their signature sound through their succeeding hits "Scrawny", "Remember When", "OK", "Nobody Gets Me (Like You)", "I Don't Want to Talk", and many more.

"Model" is teased to be the "most approachable album" they've ever made. In a conversation with Rolling Stone, Dylan Minnete says "I want people to put this on if they’re not really a fan of us, and be gripped immediately," explaining that they don't necessarily want too much of their attention, but wanting to keep this feeling. "We keep them the whole time and make them want to come back."

The band also shares how they let go of "anxious tendencies" on the new record, something which was evident in their previous releases. This is set to be their "lightest" feeling project yet. The creation of the album invites memories of their debut LP "Nothing Happens", wherein Preston shares how they've matured in the studio, and observed that he hasn't been overthinking every single element of each song. "I’m not overthinking it at all [anymore]. I’m just happy with the instincts we had in the studio and the way that it all turned out," he told Rolling Stone.

As "Model" hits the shelves on May 24th, make sure to mark your spots at their massive headlining tour by booking those tickets now!
