The fact that Teddy Swims has been able to make it big is one of those rare moments when, as a music fan, you can believe that the industry has hope. Without a doubt, he's one of the more talented singers out on tour today, with a soulful voice that allows him to cross over to many different genres with unique songs. That's what's coming to the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday, August 12th.
Freek Freely is going to be the opening act on the night, and they'll probably be on stage with Teddy Swims for Lose Control. If you have friends who are new to the Teddy Swims experience, they could legit be asking what type of concert are you inviting me to? The truth is that it depends. Perhaps the best way to be able to tell what kind of song is coming up next is to take a look at the hat that Teddy's got on. If you see the fedora hat, you can bet that the next track's going to feature a little more soul. When he's out there with a cowboy hat, we're going country music style. The thing is, he could be playing different versions of the same song at times. This actually helps him fill up the set list a bit. He's quite new to the game and, therefore, doesn't have such a large personal music library.
There are just very few performers out on tour today who can wow you with the way they sing. That's not to say that you can't find decent shows and experiences by other artists. Talent-wise, however, you can put Teddy Swims in a class that's close to the likes of Adele. That's not to say that he's got the same vocal range, it's just that from the word go you'll recognize his talent. If you've never seen him live before, get ready to be amazed.
